Hervey Bay is located a comfortable three and a half hours drive, or 45 minutes flight north of Brisbane, Australia.

It has a great sub-tropical climate, with summer (January) temperatures averaging 29 degrees Celsius and a winter (July) average of 21 degrees Celsius.
